Cinnamon and Apple Breakfast Smoothie

There are many things to be happy about right now. A couple things that come to mind are that the term has finally ended, and that this long winter should be coming to an end as we go into April. Soon enough, we won’t be needing to cling to our hot drinks to keep our hands warm in the mornings, so why not try some new breakfast smoothies?
With spring right around the corner, I have decided to try and cook healthy recipes only. I’m not sure how long that will last, but I do know that I have found one healthy recipe that will get me through any long morning. The apple cinnamon breakfast smoothy is a nice switch up from my usual banana bomb breakfast smoothy. It has a different flavor but is just as easy to make. Try this as the days get warmer, and it will fill you up for breakfast!
What you need:
5 raw almonds
1 red apple
1 banana
3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
1/2 cup nonfat milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
How to make it:
Combine the ingredients in a blender. If you want to, you can chop the apple and almonds up, but if your in a rush to NDA then I would just cut the apple up in a few medium pieces. Blend on medium-high until you are satisfied with the consistency. Pour it in a cup, and have it on your way to NDA!
