A Banana Bomb Smoothie to Go!

It has come to that time of year when the weather is freezing and everyone need to bundle up and grab a hot drink on early NDA mornings out the door. However,  sometimes I’m in such a rush to get out the door that I forget to eat breakfast. First I don’t notice anything, but about half-way into second period my stomach starts making noises.

I may not always get to “eat” my breakfast as I get out the door now, but my stomach has stopped making noises because I have found a quick and healthy alternative to my bacon and eggs. I call it “The Banana Bomb!”
The Banana Bomb is extremely simple to make and can be prepped ahead of time if there isn’t enough time to make it in the morning. On Sunday night make a large amount, and store it in the fridge for a few days. Around Wednesday night, prepare some more to last you the rest of the week. Then, all you have to do in the mornings is pour your self a cup, add a few ice cubes, whipped cream and go!
What you need:
A blender
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp clear honey
Enough chilled whole milk to fill one glass    [Image]
1/4 cup Ice

Extras(if you want them)

*Protein powder
*Whipped cream
*Peanut butter
*Change the amount of supplies added depending on how many cups you plan to make
How to do it:
Cut the ripe banana into chunks and place in a blender. Add the honey, milk, and blend to a smooth milkshake consistency. Serve in a tall glass. Add any extras if you want to!
Enjoy!
