As the decade comes to an end, and potentially the current president’s time in office, it feels only fitting to look back at the best Donald Trump tweets of the past decade.

2010: Starting off the decade on a nice note.

2011: This was followed up the next year when our capitol dared not to pay homage to Jesus. Fear not, Trump was there to remind us all.

• “What a shock! The U.S. Capitol Christmas tree pays homage @BarackObama but failed to mention Jesus.” (12/20/11)

2012: Then there was the year Robert Pattinson’s wingman took to Twitter to provide relationship counseling (again… and again… and again)

• “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again—just watch. He can do much better!” (10/17/12)
• “Robert I’m getting a lot of hear for saying you should dump Kristen- but I’m right. If you saw the Miss Universe girls you would reconsider.” (10/18/12)
• “So many tweets & stories on Stewart/Pattinson. Look, it doesn’t matter—the relationship will never be the same. It is permanently broken.” (10/19/12)

2013: Don’t feel bad. We all were brought down a notch in 2013 at the reminder of where we stand in comparison to Trump’s IQ. Remember, “it’s not your fault.”

2017: 2017 came with the generous reminder that Trump single-handedly saved Christmas (and humble he was).

2018: His humble attitude continued into 2018 as we were reminded of how little we and the film industry compare to the star he is.

2019: And just this week we all felt more relaxed after Greta Thunberg was told to take a chill pill and check out a good ol’ fashioned movie – definitely how I wish people would speak to me when I’m trying to combat climate change and ensure a future here.

When you’re thinking back on where you were and where you’re at now, and inevitably thinking how you’re a loser who didn’t save Christmas or Robert Pattinson’s 2012 relationship, remember that we’re about to begin a new decade.
