With the iconic show Gossip Girl being taken off of Netflix in the New Year and being added to HBO Max, here’s a quick tribute to the show and what it was about!

The show is all about a group of rich Upper East Siders from NYC and two siblings from Brooklyn who all go to the same boarding school in the city as the Humphrey siblings try to fit in with the uber rich and the rich lifestyle. The main characters are Serena Van Der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, Dan Humphrey, Jenny Humphrey, and Vanessa Abrams. A blogger known as Gossip Girl posts the latest gossip, creating many problems for the characters. As the show goes on, they all go to college and the gossip continues. The CW show went on for 6 seasons.

The main reason this show is many teen’s favorites is because of the famous couple, Chuck and Blair. One other famous couple is Dan and Serena, which is the center of the show’s beginning.

Although it may be too late to binge, I highly recommend this show if you have HBO Max! You will grow to love the characters (or despise them). For those of us without HBO Max, we will greatly miss our famous Upper East Siders!
