Christmas Project Toy Drive

Christmas+Project+Toy+Drive

Last week, each homeroom representative met in campus ministry to discuss the Christmas Project! The Christmas Project is a very important project at NDA. Toys are collected and brought to organizations and shelters for those in need. These organizations include Codman Square Health Center and DOT House Health for student gifts and Carolina Hill and Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless for faculty gifts.

On Monday, tags were distributed to each student. You should buy a gift that fits the age that you were given, such as girls 7-10. You can find gifts at places like Five Below, Target, and the Dollar Store. Please do not feel obligated to spend a large amount of money! Stores like these are perfect!

The deadline for the gift is Thursday, December 5th. Keep the gifts in your homerooms either on your windowsill or another place advised by your homeroom teacher. Please bring in your gifts unwrapped with your tag taped on.

The gifts will be brought to these organizations in advance to their annual Christmas party. The parents of the children will then pick a gift they think would brighten their child’s Christmas! This is why it is important to make the deadline and keep the gifts unwrapped!

Thank you all for your participation! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your homeroom representative, Ms. Kelley, or Sr. Pat!

Happy Thanksgiving!
