Midterm Election Results in Massachusetts

On November 6th, millions of people voiced their choice for the Midterm elections. Here are the results of the Midterm elections in Massachusetts.

Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren (incumbent) defeated her two challengers Geoff Diehl (Republican) and independent candidate Shiva Ayyadurai.

Republican governor Charlie Baker (incumbent) won a second term.

Voters in the State election also returned an all-Democratic House delegation to Washington.

Question 1 proposed a limit to how many patients could be assigned to registered nurses.

Vote: No

Question 2, if passed, would create a citizen commission to push a constitutional amendment to overturn the Citizens United v. FEC Supreme Court decision on campaign finance.

Vote: Yes

Question 3 proposed to repeal the 2016 state law that banned discrimination against transgender people in places of public accommodation, such as restaurants, malls, and restrooms.

Vote: Yes
