Good news for all of the Harry Potter fans that thought the series ended with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany have joined forces to create yet another sequel to the series, which will be a theatre production in London.

Flash forward nineteen years after the end of “Hallows”: Harry Potter is working for the Ministry of Magic, and he and Ginny are parents of three children. Further information has not been released, engendering many questions and speculations. I am intrigued to find out how the plot will continue. I imagine Harry’s oldest son will be in a similar situation to when Harry started at Hogwarts. What house will he be placed in? Will he choose dark magic or be a hero like his famous father? Who will be the evil nemesis now that Voldemort is dead? And will Ron and Hermione’s children play a substantial role in young Albus Severus’s life?

Opening day at the Palace Theatre in London is scheduled for July 30, 2016. The play will be shown in two parts. You can attend each part on different days, or go to consecutive showings on the same evening.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 30.
