New fall trend 2015 Car Wash Skirts.

Hello fall fashionistas! According to the Farmers Almanac 2015, the autumnal equinox falls on September 23 at 4:21 A.M. (ET). Although we continue to have balmy days, the cooler nights feel more like autumn. Fall colors are making an appearance all around us as leaves change from greens to browns and rich burgundies, hydrangea buds turn a gorgeous silvery gray while squirrels scurry around hoarding their acorns. Let’s take a peek at what is considered fashion savvy for fall 2015 according to designers from around the world who have worked tirelessly producing fashion lines that appeal to all demographics. As always New York Fashion Week and Pantone dictate what is trend worthy and fashion forward by top designers.

According to Glamour Magazine the 70’s vibe comes alive “with lots of flares…plus knits and boho silhouettes”. Neon 80’s colors are also on trend “returning in a much more sophisticated way, now paired with neutral colors such as gray, navy, or camel”. One of the most wearable trends this season are Car Wash Skirts. This skirt can be worn short or long with oodles of fringe on the ends. “Team with a sharp blouse or top to create a refined look”. Flared jeans have been brought back to life. “Take a break from the skinny silhouette and elongate your legs by wearing them with high heels or chic wedges”. Head to toe winter cream and black in different textures and fabric’s break up this monochromatic look, which creates a fierce appearance! Puffer coats, shearling in numerous cuts, long blazers, classic capes, leather and faux fur stoles are major trends this fall. Cosmopolitan agrees with Glamour that the blazer is a fall favorite. To stay trendy with the balmy heat during the day, pair it with shorts instead of pants keeping you “cool” in every way!

Chunky sweaters, always a personal favorite, balanced with a slimmer silhouette on bottom make an ideal fashion statement. Harpers Bazaar believes Aran (Irish knits) with jeans and boots continue to remain fall favorites. “A great knit is always in season. Fall is calling for fisherman sweaters in particular, in natural creams and multi-gauge knits”. Nails this season “ran the gamut from dark and moody to bright and cheeky”. Multi colored manicures in colors such as neutrals, metallic blue, deep wine, champagne, gold glitter, paint splatter, water color effect and graphic embellishments will be especially striking with your new fall wardrobe. Solid colors are always appropriate but Harpers believes you should jazz up your nails with motifs and layer on multi colors for a real fashion statement. Their idea of what’s sassy for hair is “The classic French twist gets a modern makeover, bohemian waves are here to stay… The focus is on thick texture and kinky movement that looks like you simply braided damp hair, let it air-dry, then unwound to effortless perfection…messy ponytails, sleek ponytails, side ponytails, ponytails wrapped in metal, but what they all had in common was that they were seriously low…the glamorous side part” regarding hair, everything and anything goes this season.

Try something new this season but remember regardless what you wear on the exterior real beauty comes from the inside out!
