Sleep Well Snacks

I do not know what is is about the past few weeks, but before I have been going to bed I have really been craving snacks. This presented a problem because I’m actually not a good sleeper and was worried about consuming food that could possibly keep me up longer than need be. Luckily, I found a website highlighting tasty snacks that actually contribute to the sleeping process and help give you a better night’s sleep than before. Below I compiled some of my favorite, easy, before bed snacks that take only minutes to make. These tasty treats will help you  sleep soundly on busy NDA nights and offer healthy alternatives for your late night cravings!
• Yogurt munch
Combine Greek yogurt with blueberries and crumbled walnuts for a delicious pre-bed treat.
• Apple munch
Apple with peanut butter on top (supposed to be very good before sleeping)!
• Crispy Edamame
For a nice savory snack, combine 1 (12 ounce) package of frozen shelled edamame with a 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 c grated Parmesan cheese, salt & pepper to taste and give it 15 minutes in a 400 degree oven
• Sushi Before Bed (No Fish)
Thinly slice 2 cucumbers longways. Add 6 ounces feta and 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt to a medium bowl. Mash to combine using a fork, and add 3 1/2 tablespoons bell pepper or sun dried tomatoes, 4 chopped olives, dill, lemon, and pepper to the bowl. Stir well to combine. Put mixture into the cucumber slices to create sushi look.
