Two Minute Chocolate Cake

The previous lack of snow this winter was a real treat, but obviously it wasn’t going to last. We are finally getting more than the amount of snow we are accustomed to here in New England. Personally, I love snow for two reasons; snow is beautiful to look at (if your not shoveling) and it can cause snow days. Over these next few weeks there may be a snow day or two, and what better way to spend it than by staying warm! Making hot cocoa is a good way, but sipping on that with warm chocolate cake is even better.

My friend taught me to make this warm chocolate cake in less than 5 minutes. It is shocking how good and easy it is to make this delicious instant chocolate cake from ingredients that we all have at home!

You will need:

-1/4 cup flour
-5 tablespoons sugar
– 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
-1 egg
– 3 tablespoons milk
-3 tablespoons vegetable oil
-and a dash of vanilla extract and salt ————————————————
-mug(s) as many as you want to serve (1 mug per serving) -bowl
-spoon

Make it:

Whisk all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth. Sprinkle sugar in the bottom of the mugs. Transfer the mixture into the mugs, and place in the microwave. Microwave until puffed (it’ll take about 2 minutes). Enjoy your instantly tasty and warm snack on an upcoming snowday, or anytime you just want some cake!
